Plain-English colors from your camera

Color Picker opens directly to a scanner and names the color inside a movable target using large, familiar words.

Useful answers without false precision

• Basic names such as blue, green, red, gray, beige, white, and black—never obscure terminology.
• Short descriptions such as light, dark, bright, muted, warm, or cool.
• High, Medium, or Low confidence with practical warnings for darkness, glare, mixed colors, and camera adjustment.

Control the scan

Tap an unobstructed point in the camera view to move the target, choose from three sampling sizes, switch between available physical rear lenses, pause a result, or add light with the torch. The quick camera panel provides exposure compensation and automatic or locked exposure, focus, and white balance.

Ready from the Action Button

The Identify Color App Shortcut opens the scanner directly and can be assigned to the Action Button on supported iPhones.

Private by design

All processing happens on the iPhone. Color Picker works offline and has no account, ads, analytics, backend, or tracking.

Color Picker estimates appearance under current lighting and camera conditions. It does not claim to reveal an intrinsic “true color.”
